The Weekenders (VS) - Palmetto Trail to Tamassee Knob +

"The Weekenders" is a GNHA group that hikes on Saturdays or Sundays. Although hike distance, elevation gain and pace may vary, hikes will conform to the GNHA Hike Rating System for VS or VVS hikes. See the Hike Rating System: https://www.greenvillehiking.com/hike-rating-system .

This in-and-out hike will begin at the Station Cove Falls trailhead and follow the Palmetto and Tamassee Knob Trails to the Tamassee Knob overlook where we'll have lunch. We'll make side trips to Station Cove Falls on the way in and to the ruins of a CCC-era water wheel on the way back. A post-hike visit to Stumphaus Taproom in Walhalla is an option for those who are interested.
