(S) The Stool - Table Rock State Park
Details
The hike starts behind the Table Rock Nature Center and goes through the woods, across streams and up to the top of Stool Mountain. From here we will have great views up to Table Rock from below and down to Table Rock Reservoir in the valley. We will plan to stop for a light lunch or snacks on top to enjoy the expansive views from the viewpoint. Be advised there are steep sections to this hike with switchbacks the last 1.5 miles to the mountain top. We will hike at a moderate pace around 2.25 mph depending on the terrain and trail conditions.
