We are a fun meet-up group based all around the West Midlands, with plenty to offer everyone. Simply join the group, and flick through our events and mark yourself as attending those you'd like to join. Feel free to ask for a contact beforehand. We have thousands of members in your area, so expect a mix of new and regular members at most events.

Everyone who enjoys the social aspects of being outdoors during the daytime, or evening socializing and nightlife, is welcome here. Our members are mainly young and single people who are interested in events locally, across the Heart of England and beyond, in a politics free environment.

Cheese Tasting, with Good Ale Range too!
As an alternative to the famous Wellington pub, where we usually hold these cheese evenings, we are going to The Jewellers Arms this month. It is a similar pub, and the event format is similar. Everyone is required to bring some cheese. The pub supplies cutlery, plates, buffet service, and accompaniments such as bread, pickles, crackers, salad vegetables..
General Logistics:
Time: 6:45pm prompt (or earlier to help grab tables) for 2-3 hours

Cost: No Entry Fee.
Hosting: Welcoming is usually collective among those attending, unless someone offers to be a contact. Or with a significant attendance, we will look to appoint a welcomer.On Arrival:
We've done this event many times before, and it was well enjoyed by all! To make this work well for our group, we need to get there early to secure a few adjacent tables, so please arrive by 6:45pm (or even earlier if you can) to optimize your chances of finding a seat, though we look out for people until 7.15pm.
Take your cheese to the buffet counter in return for a ticket. The cheese is pooled among all their customers for a cheese tasting evening, where you get to sample a lot of cheeses. The venue will provide some bread, biscuits and pickles for accompaniment. The buffet will typically open shortly after 7pm and remains open later for second helpings.Tasting Notes:
To lubricate the taste buds, there are usually around 10 traditional hand pull ales available which can be sampled in half-size glasses, and a few traditional ciders to boot.Attendance:
Minimum attendance 10, Maximum attendance 25. As with all events, please RSVP courteously, which means that no-shows and withdrawals in the last 24 hours are not allowed. There is nothing more infuriating than having the event guest list chopping and changing at the last moment. Thank you for your understanding.Please also note that internet messages tend not to be monitored during the event or while people are travelling there.

The Rhodehouse in Sutton Coldfield is always a lively and smart venue, ideal for a great night out. And what better to spend your saturday than an evening of socializing, live music, and dancing. Tickets for this event are £9 and best to arrive before the venue tables get full

EventsLogistics:
Meet: Gather at (or before) 6.45 to 7pm at The Quinto Lounge, 23 Birmingham Road, B72 1QA
Getting there: Regular buses between Sutton and the likes of Birmingham or Walsall, or trains on the Birmingham to Lichfield line, and town centre car parks for those forced to drive
Gig Stage: a few doors down the hill.
Internet: Not monitored after 7.30 pm due to the music and party atmosphere, but we'll aim to appoint a host/contact assuming there's a significant attendanceAfter a swift drink, we will move across the road to the Music Venue. The band will typically come on stage by 8.30 to 9 pm, there being a DJ and an open bar beforehand.
