GC Oceanway-Part 12! Southport SLSC 6km walk + refreshments :)

Starting from beside the Oceanway path outside Southport SLSC,
we’ll be doing a reverse walk heading south along the beautiful Oceanway path to our turn around point near the Surfers Paradise SLSC. We’ll move down onto the beach enjoying sweeping views of the coastline as we walk back on the sand to Southport Surf Lifesaving Club for well earned refreshments.
This walk is around 6km on paths and sand (the non-sand option is to return back along the path).
We’ll book a table and enjoy social chat and refreshments at Southport Surf Lifesaving Club afterwards :)
Bring: $2 donation towards meetup costs, hat, water bottle and appropriate footwear. If you prefer to pay an annual amount of $10 (PayID or cash on the day), you will enjoy 12 months of events across x2 groups - Gold Coast Active & Social + Showtime Fun Time! This event (formerly ’Walk & a Wine’) has been running for over 16 years in one form or another. It’s a wonderful way to meet new people, get a feel for the Active and Social Meetup Group and enjoy our amazing coastline views along the Gold Coast Oceanway!
