A midweek in Bunya mountains and Carnarvon Gorge.

Accommodation likely to be $540 to $600 pp twin share. The increase is due to the large number of walkers who pulled out at various times. i may be able to bring the cost down a little.

Bunya Mountains
The perfect place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Whether you just want to sit by the fire with a glass of wine or are feeling more energetic, there is something for everyone. The flora and fauna are mesmerising, with some dating back 150 million years and there are 42 kilometres of walking tracks.

Carnarvon Gorge:
The ultimate winter walking escape in the heart of the Queensland outback. Fabulous warm days and cold evenings. Carnarvon Gorge. Queensland's answer to the Kimberley, but with tracks much kinder underfoot.
Towering cliff faces, endless views, prolific wildlife and unsurpassed indigenous art sites, this is a ripper.

Accommodation:

Bunya: 2 lodges, twin share, individual room possible with extra cost.
Carnarvon: 5 Taka Huts, 3 to each room, open plan. Other slightly more upmarket rooms available, but i am assured by those who have been there that these Huts are the way to go.

Refunds: deposit will be 50%, refundable until 7 days be before the event at which time the balance will be required with no refunds unless the event is cancelled. this may change according to accommodation providers' terms.
