Goombay Fall Hike 2-Patapsco State Park
Join us for a fall hike at Patapsco Valley State Park and enjoy the cool air, colorful leaves and good vibes.
Saturday, Nov. 22nd | 10am - 11pm
This is an Intermediate Level hike but novice hikers won't have a problem hiking this trail. The hike features sites including The Swinging Bridge, Abandon Tunnel and Cascade Falls. The terrain is mostly rolling hills with a steep incline and gradual downhills.
This trail is a little over 6.3 miles with a stop to take pictures at Cascade Falls.

* We will meet in the parking lot at the Grist Mill Trail. Make sure you Google or WAZE, Grist Mill Trail or Lost Lake Parking for directions to the trailhead.
HIKE AGENDA:
9:30am: Hikers meet in the parking lot
10:00am: Hikers assemble and prepare for hike
10:15am: Hike begins
12:30pm: Hike ends
SUGGESTED EQUIPMENT LIST
- Day Pack to carry all your trail supplies
- Trekking Poles (optional)
- Sturdy hiking boots or trail sneakers
- Small First Aid Kit (optional)
- Weather-appropriate clothing (think moisture-wicking and layers)
- Hat or scarf
- Warm Gloves
- Trail snacks & water (at least 2 bottles)
- Wipes/Toilet Paper (optional)
- Hand Warmers (optional)
- Cell phone with back up battery
