Agents Unleashed: Connected by Graphs, Driven by Intelligence

Details
Join us for an exciting evening where Knowledge Graphs meet Intelligent Agents to shape the next frontier of AI-driven systems.
In this meetup, we dive into how graph-powered architectures are enabling more context-aware, autonomous, and explainable agents. Whether you're building with LLMs, working on data pipelines, exploring RAG frameworks, or simply curious about the evolving agentic paradigm — this is your space to learn, share, and connect.
The agenda of the evening would be:
- 5pm: doors open
- 5.30pm: announcements and welcome
- 5.40pm: 1st Talk
- 6.10pm: 2nd Talk
- 6:40pm: Networking
- 7.10pm: doors close
Speakers:
🎤 Stephen Young, Founder and CEO, FactNexus
Talk topic : The role of graphs in the AI Agent Internet
Description : Steve will use FactNexus' new retrievable.ai audit service to show what AI agents need (and that graphs can provide or model) to read websites. Whether your focus is AI SEO/AEO/GEO or just making AI agents that work against existing web-sites, graphs will be an important part of the agents' retrieval process.
Bio : Steve is founder and CEO of FactNexus and architect of GraphBase - a graph DMBS that FactNexus uses to help organisations capture and formalise knowledge, and to build graph-based software products and services. Steve has nearly two decades of experience working on graph-based solutions for the Health, E-commerce, Defense, Intelligence and Telco sectors.
🎤 Daniela Elia, Strategic AI and Innovation Leader
Talk topic : Mapping the Corporate Web: How Graph-RAG and Autonomous Agents Navigate Australian Corporate Law
Description : Australian corporate law exists in complex webs of relationships. The Corporations Act 2001 establishes statutory director duties, ASIC Regulatory Guides implement enforcement frameworks, and ASX listing rules create additional governance requirements that cascade through interconnected legal frameworks. This talk demonstrates how knowledge graphs can map connections between corporate laws and how autonomous agents enable sophisticated queries, providing an explainable analysis of the impact of corporate law and identifying cascading liability risks and potential conflicts between statutory duties and regulatory enforcement approaches.
Bio : Daniela Elia is a strategic AI and innovation leader with over 15 years of experience in AI solution development and more than 5 years in senior AI leadership roles. She has pioneered the use of generative AI, agentic AI systems, and graph database technologies across high-growth startups and multinational enterprises. A keynote speaker and PhD candidate in Behavioural Data Science at the University of Technology Sydney, she is recognised as one of the 2024 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics and actively mentors the next generation of AI professionals.
We'll explore:
- How Knowledge Graphs supercharge Agents and LLMs
- Real-world applications of GraphRAG, Semantic Search & Agentic Workflows
- Open discussions, networking, and opportunities to collaborate across ecosystems
Whether you're a graph geek, a cloud-native builder, or an AI tinkerer, come be a part of this conversation.
