Details
We invite our community members to come and experience the incredible Digital Impact Pitch for themselves!
This unique and interactive event, based on visual storytelling, is designed to help the audience uncover the impact of digital & AI on our planet and tips on how to act at an individual and company level. We're lucky to have the orginator of the concept, Sandra Sydow, running this session along with her colleague Rupert Horlick.
Join us in person at the Scott Logic offices by Bristol Bridge for pizza, drinks and mingling. Arrive from 6pm for a 6.30pm start. Session closes at 8pm after which we'll head to the Left Handed Giant for an optional drink.

What is a Digital Impact Pitch?
Typically a 60 - 75 min workshop that helps the audience discover what is hidden behind the daily use of multiple digital devices, and technology in general. One of the main messages is around the importance of understanding the link between our so-called “virtual” activities and their associated “material” impact.
It consists of four key elements:
1. Discovery - the presenters walk through a large drawing in interactive storytelling mode to reveal how digital and AI is an increasingly powerful technology that has simplified our lives, allowing us to make impressive advances in many sectors, it leaves a very significant environmental and societal footprint.
2. Understanding our role - a moment of audience exchange to better understand the importance of our role.
3. Taking action! - This part covers key responsible practices at the individual and collective/company level.
4. A time for discussion - participants ask questions and discuss with each other and the presenters.
