Morning Mindfulness - Preston
Details
Start the day with a short, structured mindfulness practice in a small local Preston park (AG Davis - cnr Wood & Robertson Streets)
We’ll gather near the BBQ area (see map pin) and move to a quiet spot nearby, starting at 10:10am sharp. If you arrive late, you’re welcome to join quietly at any point.
This 20-minute session will include a guided mindfulness exercise (“Leaves on a Stream”) drawn from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). The focus is on gentle attention, perspective, and practical skills you can take into everyday life - not discussion or sharing.
The session is facilitated by a trained therapist and is suitable for adults who are feeling mentally busy, want a simple structure for personal growth, or are interested in learning practical mindfulness skills. There’s no pressure to participate in any particular way; listening, observing, or simply being present is always enough.
Just bring yourself and comfortable clothing.
