This meetup is a creative focus session based on the body doubling method.
It is designed for people who want to work on their personal projects in a calm, supportive environment, while sharing the experience with others.
The goal is simple: focus, create, and stay motivated together.

> What is body doubling?

Body doubling is a productivity technique where people work independently, but in the presence of others.
You are not collaborating on the same task, but the shared focus helps with:

  • motivation
  • consistency
  • reducing procrastination
  • staying engaged with your project

This method is often used by creatives, students, freelancers, and neurodivergent people.

> What can you work on?

You can work on any personal or creative project, such as:

  • writing (stories, poems, journaling)
  • drawing, painting, or illustration
  • reading
  • knitting or crafting
  • studying or planning
  • any quiet, focused activity

You don’t need to be “artistic” or “creative” — everyone is welcome.

> How does the session work?

The meetup is divided into structured focus and sharing moments:

🕒 60 minutes of focused work
Everyone works silently on their own project.

💬 10 minutes of sharing and discussion
We take a short break to talk about what we’re working on, exchange ideas, or simply connect.

Then we repeat the cycle, combining focus time and social interaction in a balanced way.

> Why join?

  • To dedicate time to your personal projects
  • To feel less alone while working
  • To stay productive without pressure
  • To connect with like-minded people

This is not a class, not a workshop, and not a performance — just a shared space for focused creativity.

Looking forward to seeing you, sharing ideas, and starting this new year together.

Thank you, and see you soon!
