~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Join us for a fun and challenging 14-16 mile ride at a BRISK pace of about 9-14 mph over lots of rock gardens, granite slabs, and single track full of ruts and tall weeds/grass here and there. Routes and distance change weekly depending on group turnout. This ride is intended for very fit and technically capable non ebike riders who are already familiar with the GBs trails or technically capable ebikers. Most technical features have go arounds but it is your responsibility to ride within your skill level for "Safety Third!"
BRING:
*Well tuned mountain bike (no gravel or hybrids),
*Helmet, water, fix-a-flat stuff, first aid, and positive attitude!
*Post ride bevs or snacks as desired.
FOR GROUP RIDING AWARENESS:
*RSVP in advance so we can pre-plan our routes according to turnout.
*Be sure you meet req'd skill/fitness levels before RSVPing to this ride.
*Guests must meet skill and fitness requirements of this ride.
*You are responsible for your own safety and riding abilities.
*If you peel off early, let someone in the group know before doing so.
*If we have a big group, be prepared to help lead a smaller subgroup.
*Trails can be loose in turns when dry, so ride with caution!
*Allow reasonable space between riders esp thru tech sections.
*Stronger, more skilled riders should ride towards the front of pack.
*Slower, less skilled riders should ride mid to back of the pack.
*Always let the rider behind you know which way the group is turning.
*Be sure you can handle riding in hot temps during summer months.
*Poison Oak is everywhere, so no touchy touchy.
*No Smoking or vaping amongst the group. Thank you.
