Hike at Penwood SP, Rt. 185 Bloomfield CT

It is the 4th. If you would like get out before your BBQ event, come on out for a walk. This is an all levels loop at Penwood SP. I will wait to see the group signed up to determine the route. This park has many options from a paved road walk to a rugged climb up the Pinnacle.

The goal a 5 mile trip around the park. Please bring a pack with water, snacks, bug spray, and sunscreen. Hiking boots are strongly recommended.

Please know that you are hiking with a group. We are only as fast as our slowest person. Please be flexible and supportive of all. We stay together for safety. Snack, water, and picture taking breaks as needed.

Please no children. Well mannered dogs are welcome. The park requires them to be on a leash.

Items you must consider for every event:

• If you have an event after a hike, please do not sign up for the hike.
• End times are only an estimate.
• The group will not adjust speed or trail route to accommodate your schedule.
• If you cannot attend an event, please cancel 48 hours before. Late cancellations are rude and take away the option for others to join the event.
• Be a good hiking human.
