Fungi Search in Sherrardspark, Welwyn

Join in for a Fungi search in Sherradspark Wood, Welwyn to seek out these autumn wonders.

The woodlands also come alive in the fall, seeing the different coloured leaf's and the trees starting to cut back whilst having a chat with like minded people is my idea of fun. So why not head out to the woods, meet new people, and make friends.

These woods, Sherradspark Woods are in Welwyn Garden City and there is a small car park which is free. The postcode for the car park is AL8 7SU.

It is mostly on flat ground with a couple of steep hills here and there, nothing to taxing if you are used to walking.

Due to the fallen leafs and wet ground or mud this time of year, please ensure you wear suitable footwear.

After the walk if you fancy a drink or some food/snacks, there are a few pubs nearby. We can decide this collectively at the end of the meeting.

The location is not well served by public transport, so your own transport would make it easier.

Well-mannered dogs are welcome to join us on the walk.
