This group is for young professionals (21-44 years old) looking to network, hang out, and make new friends. This group are for those who live and work in Hawaii only (visitors may be allowed temporary membership).

We do various activities including community outreach, hikes, beach, picnics, bbqs, surfing, snorkeling, sports, festivals, concerts, dining at restaurants, happy-hours, and much more! I am always open to your suggestions for new social activities & events and excited to meet you all at our Meetup events! ๐๐๐พ

1. Must be under 45 years old to join. Hawaii Young Professionals is specifically catered to a demographic of people who are in a similar stage in life. If you are above age 45, there are other meetup groups catered for older age groups. Mahalo for your understanding.
2. Please be kind and considerate to others during conversations. Do not cut off/speak over another member's conversation. Please be inclusive of other's ideas, issues, questions, etc. Let's be good listeners and professional communicators. Good, positive vibes only.
3. Any member/event attendee who makes offensive, negative or discriminatory comments on gender, sexual orientation, religion, race, etc. will not be tolerated and be removed from the group. Please refrain from using profane, vulgar language including cursing, swearing toward another member/event attendee.
4. Please respect our hosts and other members (on waitlist) by changing your RSVP to โNot goingโ if you cannot attend to event.
- 1 No-show will result in reminder/warning message. *If member messages event host or leaves comment on event page before the start of event, that will not be considered a No-show.
- 2 No-shows will result in a temporary 2 week removal.
- 3 No-shows will result in temporary 1 month removal.
- More than 3 No-shows will result in indefinite/permanent removal from the group.
*Any member who violates any of the rules and policies listed above may be removed at any time.

After enjoying snorkeling at ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, we'll explore the amazing ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐ and savor delicious food at Latin restaurant!๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ฆ๐๐ค๐๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ง๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ข๐ง๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐๐๐ข๐๐ฅ?
A pipe runs along the sea floor from the power plant, intermixing with the reef and discharging warm water through a large opening about 200 yards offshore (the water is used to cool the power plant, and when discharged, itโs warmer than the sea water). This outpouring of warm water attracts a lot of wildlife, mostly large groups of tropical fish, sea turtles, and sometimes dolphins! At times, sea turtles can even be seen riding the current coming out of the pipe! ๐ข- Snorkeling at this spot is for experienced and strong swimmers/snorkelers/divers.
- Please bring your own snorkeling gear (mask & fins), beach towel, sunscreen, etc.
- Please stay hydrated/energized and bring enough water/snacks.
