What we’re about
Calling all Happy Ladies 50(ish) and over to have some fun. Just because we are getting more mature doesn't mean we should give up on ‘fun’. If your idea of ‘fun’ is a cheeky glass of something out and a natter; a visit to a theatre; taking in a walk with watering holes; having a boogie; playing some non-competitive board games/cards or having an afternoon tea out (or anything else we fancy) you will find it here!!
As we want to make this an active Group, you are welcome to join our events for four weeks after which we would ask you to pay £3.50 (total) for a 6 month membership which is purely to cover Meetup's fee to us for providing the site as all events are organised voluntarily.
I really hope you will join us as an active member and look forward to meeting you soon.

The Croupiers arrive for a much-anticipated hometown show at BOAT (Brighton Open Air Theatre) fresh from their adventures around the UK. Expect a night crammed full of Northern, Rare and Classic Soul Music for dancing like nobody’s watching, performed live by a powerhouse 10-piece band, with plenty of your Northern favourites, rare gems and some proper anthems! The band are delighted to welcome aboard legendary Brighton Soul Kingpin – Mr Paddy Shevlin – on DJ duties for this show, with an array of bangers from his gargantuan collection of rare and classic soul music on OG vinyl!
Tickets are £19, Concession £17 and should be booked direct from:

This Event is being held at Brighton Open Air Theatre which as it’s name suggests has no cover and the show will go on regardless - so be prepared. We have been to this venue in the pouring rain (under ponchos) and in the searing heat and everytime it has been the greatest fun.
Gates open at 6.00 and we can take picnics and our own drinks. The performance starts at 7.00 pm and finishes at 9.30 pm and from past experience promises to be a fun event. There are toilets and a bar on site.
Please note - Brighton Open Air Theatre is an approximate 20 minute walk from Preston Park Station on a slight incline.
Travel details nearer the time.
