We hold donation based yoga, meditation and nutrition classes at our Mid-City Studio. Join our community, around since 2009 and committed to equal access to self-care and non-invasive healthcare. We believe the power of media is transformative and awareness raising. We hold the Awareness Film Festival to bring amazing films to Los Angeles that showcase important causes that effect everyone. We hold monthly screening series as well as a yearly large event in downtown. The Awareness Film Festival. Join us to meet like minded people and take advantage of our platforms of wellness and awareness.

Teacher Bio:
Kirstin Tarbox is a CYT500 yoga instructor and certified Y12SR Peer Support Specialist. She teaches vinyasa and restorative yoga and leads group meetings in Yoga for 12-Step Recovery.
Yoga has been an integral part of her life for over 20 years. She believes that yoga and meditation help us get in tune with our bodies and minds, notice where we are out of balance, and learn to find what we need in our lives. No matter her challenges, Yoga has always helped her find her way back to peace and well-being.
She lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her dogs Gilly and Maggie-May, who sometimes join her for yoga.Class Description:
Y12SR is a holistic model to address the physical, mental, and spiritual disease of addiction. Informed by the latest research in neuroscience and trauma healing, Y12SR “connects the dots” by combining the somatic approach of yoga with the cognitive approach of 12-step recovery programs. Y12SR recognizes that "the issues live in the tissues" and as such, supplements yoga and its practices as an integral part of a holistic recovery program.
Y12SR includes a group sharing circle preceded or followed by an intentional, themed, trauma-informed yoga practice. Y12SR classes are for anyone dealing with their own addictive behaviors or affected by those behaviors in others. Jhannyn is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, lifelong student of yoga, and dedicated practitioner of meditation for over 5 years. She completed her training through The Yoga Tree Coop, a program rooted in social justice, inclusivity, and accessibility — values that continue to shape her teaching and presence in the community. Her classes offer a slow, intentional flow that centers breath, body awareness, and choice. Jhannyn creates welcoming spaces where all bodies and identities are honored, and where yoga becomes a tool for healing, reconnection, and inner strength. She invites students to move at their own pace, listen deeply, and approach practice as both a personal and collective journey toward wholeness.

Teacher Bio:
My name is Sandra, I am 49 years old, I have 13-year-old son, I work part time in a retail store, and I live with my parents. I love to enjoy life, and I am grateful for all the opportunities that have come up and I like to challenge myself in trying new things.
I did my 200-hour Intensive Teacher training this past Summer 2025 at The Tree Yoga Cooperative, I’ve been practicing yoga for 2 years and 6 months, I am so excited to start my teaching journey at Heal One World.
Class Description:
This class is a bilingual Spanish & English gentle beginner vinyasa style yoga flow
providing a safe space that promotes inclusion, breath awareness, mindful movement and deep relaxation.
Setting an intention before class will be suggested.
All levels and bodies are welcome.
