The class opens with a self massage/activation. Extended holding of poses promotes the flow of energies through the body, stimulates the parasympathetic system of rest and repair (supporting the immune system), and may increase your range of motion. The closing allows for the natural harmony that has occurred between being and doing to assimilate, so you can take it off the mat and out of the studio.

Yin is available to all bodies.
