Gillian Woodhouse
Gillian Woodhouse is an experienced high-tech commercialization professional. She has given advice to boards of biotechnology and medical device firms and she has managed large IP portfolios and led successful IP due diligence activities for fundraising and formation of strategic alliances. She has used strategic insight and financial acumen to provide company and technology analyses for Board discussion. Gillian has broad and deep understanding of the healthcare sector developed over 20 years of work experience in government, multinational and start-up organisations.
Anthony Alder
Anthony Alder has more than 15 years’ experience with the commercialisation of technology developed by Australian companies. Anthony has previously worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal, ResMed Ltd, Ventracor Ltd, Cochlear Ltd, and Ainsworth Gaming. Anthony is a qualified NSW Supreme Court Solicitor, Patent and Trade Mark Attorney, and Domain Name Arbitrator in Australia.
Melinda Upton
Melinda Upton is Head of the Intellectual Property and Technology group in Australia. She is a leading intellectual property partner with extensive, cross-sector experience across all aspects of brand protection, exploitation and enforcement, both in Australia and globally. This includes advising global companies on branding and rebranding strategies and maximising their intellectual property portfolios, as well as matters involving trademark protection and enforcement, anti-counterfeiting, advertising and marketing, domain name disputes, consumer protection, passing off, social media and design protection, plus intellectual property audits and due diligence.
