Reimagining Women's Health: From Innovation to Access

Details
Healthtech Innovation Qld is bringing back the Innovation in Women's Health series, this time focusing on Reimagining Women's Health: From Innovation to Access.
This event will explore how recent advancements in science and technology hold significant promise to close critical gaps in women’s healthcare.
Beyond the breakthroughs themselves, we will examine what it takes to ensure these innovations successfully reach patients, addressing challenges in translation, system adoption, policy, funding, and equitable access.
Women’s health is undergoing a long-overdue transformation, fuelled by advances in science, technology, and a growing ecosystem of founders, researchers, and investors determined to close the gap in care.
Featuring:
· Dr Clarissa Yates, Founder of Ketim Technologies, on transforming care for women with postpartum depression
· Dr Pegah Varamini, on translating breakthrough cancer research into novel therapeutics for triple-negative breast cancer
· Ali Stokes, Founder of Beyond the Clinic, on designing scalable, tech-enabled care beyond the traditional clinical setting
The Panel session will be chaired by Tamara Mills, Investor in life sciences and women’s health at Edale Capital, and CEO of MassAffinity, a drug discovery company leveraging its propietary platform to accelerate novel therapeutics for women’s health, with an initial focus on endometriosis.
Join us for an evening of bold ideas and real conversations with leaders reimagining what’s possible, from early intervention in postpartum depression and novel therapies for aggressive cancers to tech-enabled models of care and growing momentum to better support chronic, complex women’s health conditions like endometriosis, which have historically lacked sufficient research, recognition, and investment.
