Currumbin Creek rock hop & waterfalls 💦 🌴

Hey everybody,
This Sunday come along for a walk and rock hop, exploring the beautiful Currumbin Creek, visiting many pools, cascades and hidden waterfalls along the way.
We will meet just past Currumbin Valley Primary School (see exact map pin below) and then carry on together for another 10 minutes up the valley to our start point.
We will first head to the main and largest cascades, where we will have time here for our first swim, exploring the rock pools and cascades before continuing towards our rock hop.
Depending on water levels, you may need to wade through water as high as your waist, so please bring appropriate shoes to get wet - a pair of runners will be fine.
After following the main path we will then venture off track and follow the creek, walking and rock hopping our way up through the various areas and pools.
We will take our time along the way, stopping for another swim in one of the hidden waterfalls. At our end point, we will reach some more stunning hidden waterfalls where we will stop for lunch and have time to explore and swim again, before then heading back the same way to our starting point to finish.

IMPORTANT INFO:
· Event restricted to 20 people.
· One plus 1 per person welcome, please indicate on your RSVP.
· If you RSVP then can't attend, please give as much notice as possible so others don't miss out: No shows are not appreciated.
· Please bring lunch, snacks and enough water as there will not be any chance to buy any once we leave.
· This is classified as a "Grade 4" walk (out of 5): Some rock hopping and rock scrambles up and down some steep rocky areas as well as wading through water are part of the trail and agility is required.
· Please be sure to wear shoes that are able to get wet as we will be wading through water.
· Donations are appreciated to help cover the cost of Meetup fees.
