There comes a point in life when we realise:
we cannot control other people’s choices,
their effort,
their opinions,
their reactions,
or their growth.
We can love people, hope for them, cheer for them —
but we cannot make them behave a certain way.
Mel Robbins calls this The “Let Them” Theory:
If someone doesn’t make the effort…
let them.
If someone speaks poorly of you…
let them.
If someone doesn’t choose you…
let them.
If someone takes you for granted…
let them.
If someone pulls away…
let them.
Not because you don’t care.
Not because you’re passive.
Not because you’re weak.
But because your peace matters more than your pursuit of approval.
In this conversation, we’ll explore:
