Therapy Trip | Guatemala

Are you a licensed PT, OT, Speech Therapist, or Autism Specialist looking to make a significant impact while helping Marquette University and Stonybrook University therapy students refine their skills?
This service trip is for you! You'll apply your expertise at free therapy clinics in Guatemala, partnering with Hearts In Motion on a short-term mission that allows you to mentor emerging therapists while delivering transformational care to those in need.
This hands-on experience also provides both students and volunteers the opportunity to learn about the diverse needs of the communities they serve, fostering teamwork, compassion, and ethical practice.

Gynecology, Construction, Gen. Medical & Surgery Jan 30 - Feb 8 | Guatemala
Zacapa, Barrio La Barca, GTMedical and non-medical volunteers are needed for a trip of service helping the people of Guatemala. This hands-on experience allows volunteers and participants to learn about the diverse needs of the communities they serve, fostering teamwork, compassion, and ethical practice.
WOMEN'S HEALTH GYNECOLOGY
Gynecologists, nurses, surgeons, and volunteers in supportive roles are needed to provide free surgical procedures and cervical cancer screenings for women in Guatemala who do not have access to these types of services.
GENERAL MEDICINE – WE NEED GPS, PAs, NPs, & Pediatricians.
Medical professionals are needed to travel to small towns, offer free pop-up general medicine clinics, and distribute medications.
HOUSE CONSTRUCTION
To help improve the quality of the living conditions of the children and their families at our daycare and preschool, who are living under a tarp or ramshackle structure, we started our house-building program. Come and get your hands dirty and transform a life for a family in desperate need. No construction experience is necessary; you just need a willingness to pitch in and help.
