The Loom of Time
This gathering turns to patience and acceptance as essential mindfulness attitudes that help us stay grounded amid life’s continual change. On the loom of time, Patience becomes a quiet rhythm -a gentle release of rushing- that teaches us to breathe with life itself, cultivating trust in its unfolding complexity. Acceptance, in turn, is the art of embracing imperfection, contrast, and transformation as natural parts of wholeness. Together, these qualities invite us to rest more deeply in the present moment, at ease with the flow of time.

• Reflect on artworks from ancient Mesopotamia and Greek myths that reveal the wisdom of surrender and trust in life’s rhythm.
• Explore paintings that embody steadfastness, balance, and equanimity.
• Experience a gentle mindfulness practice and self-compassion meditation to soften the heart and release urgency.

The Art of Impermanence
In this gathering we turn toward the land of impermanence, where change is the essence of all things, the ground from which new possibilities arise. Joy and sorrow, light and shadow - the contrasts that shape our human experience -gain depth and meaning through impermanence.

✨ In This Gathering, we will;
• Journey through artworks from Impressionism to Abstract Expressionism and nature-based creations that embody transience and transformation.
• Explore ancient myths and writings by Rainer Maria Rilke, Rebecca Solnit, Pema Chödrön, Thich Nhat Hanh and others illuminating life’s ever-changing rhythm.
• Engage in a mindfulness meditation to rest with the flow of breath, thoughts, and emotions as they arise and dissolve.

In this gathering, we turn toward gratitude and generosity as essential ways of expanding the heart. Gratitude invites us to notice what we so often take for granted -the breath, the beating of the heart, the sheer gift of being alive. Generosity, in turn, is the art of allowing the heart to blossom through giving in its many forms -what Stephen Post describes as celebration, forgiveness, compassion, listening, and creativity, among others.

✨ In this gathering, we will:
• Look to art as a vessel of gratitude and generosity -from Northern Renaissance paintings that honor the sacred in the everyday to the works of Picasso, Ai Weiwei, and Banksy, where creativity becomes a social offering and a call for solidarity.
• Reflect on an ancient Mexican myth that reveals how generosity becomes nourishment for the whole.
• Explore ancient shamanic rituals that honor life as a circle of exchange and reciprocity.
• Experience a gratitude meditation inspired by G. I. Gurdjieff, planting seeds of resilience and joy to carry into daily life.

This final gathering of the year invites us into the mystery of Oneness -the experience of being woven into a greater whole. To sense the hidden threads of interconnection: drinking the cloud in the tea, touching the body of a tree in the pencil, tasting the sunshine in an apple. To travel beyond the surface of appearances, into the subtle space where all things unite.

We will reflect on how artists, poets, and thinkers have sought to give form to this unity, offering visions that dissolve the boundaries between self and world. Our path will lead from the first gestures of prehistoric cave paintings to the swirling skies of Vincent van Gogh, the spiritual abstractions of Hilma af Klint, the ephemeral land art of Andy Goldsworthy; from the poetry of Walt Whitman, the reflections of Stefan Zweig and Knut Hamsun, to the Zen teachings of Shunryu Suzuki; and from the music of Gustav Mahler to the luminous stillness of Arvo Pärt. Flowing in this boundless river, we will listen again to the poetry of Rumi, where the soul remembers its belonging.

We will close our cycle with a Oneness meditation, a shamanic initiation practice to touch the deep layers of interconnectedness. This guided meditation will invite us to rest in awareness, to open the heart to the mystery of interbeing, and to celebrate the wonder of belonging -to each other, to creativity, and to the one world we share.
