We are the Sloth Hiking Group: “We will get there when we get there.” We dare to go where the ‘real’ hike groups don’t !!

Pat M will lead to Bell Park trail near Saluda; Up to 12 ppl are welcome to join us.
Hike Distance: 2.6 mi Loop; Staircase section (45steps) in the beginning. Accum ascent: 350ft (Moderately constant for ½ the loop);
Pace: 1.5mph – because I’m an ol’ Codger.
Difficulty: Recently developed trail (moderate constant climb)
Masticating will be ‘in motion’.
Drive time: 15 min; 6 mi 1-way
Apprx return time: 12:30p (=2.5 hrs)

DESCRIPTION;
Remember - hikes led by ‘the Curmudgeon’ tend to have challenging surprises.
Geriatrics are asked to bring their own BP cuffs.
69-acre park offers 1.8 miles of rolling, forested trails trails and an observation deck next to a waterfall. Some moderate steep and uneven terrain. From the parking area, The beginning section has several downward flights of stairs that lead to the observation deck with a bench next to the waterfall. The remaining loop trails are forested.
All hikes are at your own risk. You are responsible for your OWN safety and adequate equipment.
