What’s happening
6:00 PM – Free Soup Dinner
Three kinds of soup will be available:
- Meat-based
- Vegan
- Gluten-free
7:00 PM – Optional Activity
Traditional Ash Wednesday Service (you’re welcome to attend or head out—totally up to you). (February 18 only. There will be a different activity every week.)

Accessible entrance & parking: Behind the church on Dounton Way
Once you’re inside
- Soup Dinner: In the Chapel
Enter through the Allegheny Ave doors. Walk into the main worship space (the Sanctuary), then continue through the arches at the front to reach the Chapel. If you use the accessible entrance on Dounton Way, you’ll enter directly into the Chapel. - Ash Wednesday Service: In the Sanctuary
This is the main worship space you enter from Allegheny Avenue.
Volunteers will be around to help direct you if you’re unsure—just ask.
About the Ash Wednesday service (optional)
You don’t need to be a church member—or religious at all—to attend. The service includes the option to receive ashes and marks the start of Lent, a season of reflection, healing, and personal growth. Come if you’re curious; skip it if you’re not.

- Street parking on Allegheny Avenue (right in front of the church)
