Wilson's Pimple Loop: L - 1 Chip
Details
*** NOTE: Late start time 9:00am ***
Willson’s Pimple Loop is an approx. 4.5 mile trail and due to the distance and uneven ground is considered an easy/moderately challenging loop hike.
It has a total elevation gain of approximately 670 ft.
The trail is relatively flat for the first couple miles and the elevation gain is gradual until we get to the foot of the knoll. From this point we ascend the knoll for ½ mi and have an elevation gain of about 260 ft.
On this trail hike you will see some beautiful rock formations and great cacti along the trail. The sights are magnificent at the top of the knoll, and you will see Mt. Wilson, Sherwood Forest (which is part of Mt. Wilson) Bridge Mountain and Rainbow Mountain. It has awesome views so bring your camera.

Group Hiking: Stay with the group behind the leader. If you don’t want to stay with us, you can always go hiking on your own, though it’s not recommended. Don’t run ahead. If you start to get too far behind, shout ahead before you’re out of range for someone to hear you. I always endeavor to keep track of everyone’s progress, but ultimately, it’s your responsibility to communicate what you need.
