Bring at least 2+ liters of water.
Electrolytes are recommended.
Food: Bring food and snacks.
Hiking poles: Mostly scrambling - but you might them if you are doing White Rock loop too
Approach shoes for White Rock Springs Peak & Hiking shoes for the loop
Headlamps: Not needed for this short hike but you should always be prepared for emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.
Clothing: Layer up you can always layer down
Weather: Low 50's although this might change

White Rock Loop - Same parking lot but this time we have to circle the white mountain

We will start the hike from the same parking lot going counterclockwise to do the loop.

This route features canyon views, wooded climbs, and a well-marked trail.
With the White Rock Mountain Loop, you will see typical desert plants like the cholla cactus lining the trail. On the mountain's west side, hidden from the Scenic Drive, is a hidden forest of juniper and pinyon pine. It's a great contrast to the barren east side.

Safety is the first priority of our hikes. Therefore, all hikers in our group, including another leader who joins us, will stay behind the leader. The sweeper will be last in line.

Group Hiking: Stay with the group behind the leader. If you don’t want to stay with us, you can always go hiking on your own, though it’s not recommended.
