Brisk 5 to 9 mile Hike — Harmon Park to YMCA & opt Colonial Park in Lebanon

We will do a 5-mile neighborhood hike (3 mph) on a paved trail with hills from Harmon Park to the Countryside YMCA and back from 12:00 PM-1:45 PM.
Upon returning to Harmon Park, those who want more will go ½ mile into the heart of Lebanon and do a 3-mile (somewhat exploratory) trail loop at Colonial Park and return to Harmon for an additional 4 miles (9 total).
This is a faster pace (20 minute mile).
Feel free to join us at Harmon Park at 1:45 PM if you just want to do the 4-mile hike that includes the trail from 1:45 PM-3:15 PM.
If you are only doing the 5 miles, you won't need hiking shoes. If you are continuing, we will stop by the parking lot and you can pick up poles, if you'd like, for Colonial Park where there are creek crossings.

Please also check the weather and dress accordingly. The hike will be canceled in the event of hazardous weather.

What to bring: Water (be sure you are well-hydrated before the hike and carry plenty of water during the hike), hiking or trail shoes with good traction, trekking poles . Hike at your own risk . You are responsible for your own safety and enjoyment and for determining if you are in a condition fit to participate. If you have any doubts, you should consult your doctor.
