Appalachian trail, Keys Gap parking lot Rt 9 & Harvest Gap Brewery

We'll hike SoBo or south bound on the Appalachian Trail from the Keys Gap parking lot on Rt 9 towards the Dave Lessor shelter approximately 6.9 miles with 1800 feet of elevation gain and loss. Afterwards we'll gather at The Harvest Gap Brewery 15485 Purcellville Rd, Hillsboro, VA 20132 for food & beverages. I'm rating this hike as moderate. We'll be hiking on top of the ridge line with a nice view of the valley under full tree canopy. Sturdy hiking shoes and water is highly recommended.
Overflow parking is just past the trail head on the left.
