We organize hikes across the Netherlands while combining this with photography.
Whether you're a seasoned photographer, just love snapping pictures with your phone or just join for a little exercise/exploring, you're welcome here.

Get ready for a fun, laid-back afternoon with awesome people from different communities around Amsterdam! This community is participating in the yearly XXL picnic in Vondelpark!
Every community adds something to the event, so we are organising City Walk before the picnic. Join us from Amsterdam Central Station to walk to Vondelpark. It’s a great way to explore the city, take some pictures and warm up for the social vibes ahead. Before heading to the park, we go to a supermarket to grab some drinks and food for the picnic.
What to expect at the picnic:
- Bring your own drinks & snacks
- Jam session for musicians bring your instrument!
- Play fun games (You can bring your cards, sport equipment etc) or just relax in the grass
- A Philosophy corner. Deep topics only!
- Language exchange. Time to practice your Dutch or any other language!
- Most importantly, meet new people and connect across communities

- City walk meetup: 2pm at Amsterdam Central Station
- Picnic start time: 3pm at Vondelpark
- What to bring: Drinks, snacks, picnic blanket, games, instrument (if you play), and your good vibes!

Join us for a scenic hike through the North Holland countryside, starting from Heiloo Station and ending at Alkmaar Station. Along the way, we’ll walk through peaceful nature areas, spot traditional windmills, and take in the charm of the classic Dutch landscape.
Whether you're here to stretch your legs, take photos, or meet new people, this is a relaxed and welcoming hike open to all levels. Dogs are welcome too!
Reminder: Hike means long walk. The walk is going to take long (15-17km), but we will have enough breaks to take pictures and eat.
If you get too tired, you can decide to take the bus from Bergen (12km) to Alkmaar Station or finish the hike with us to Alkmaar Station (17km)
Details:
- Meeting Point: Amsterdam Central Station (Intercity leaves at 9:09 from platform 7a) or Heiloo Station at 9:45
- Final Point: Alkmaar Station
- What to bring:
- Water and snacks
- A camera (or phone camera) if you’d like to take photos
- Comfortable walking shoes (it can be hilly)
- Sun protection
- A good mood! 😊

- Dogs are welcome!
- This is a casual, inclusive, and creative meetup. no photography experience needed.
- Expect easy to moderate walking paths and lots of opportunities to enjoy nature and snap beautiful pictures.
