we are meeting at 12 at Amsterdam central station and going to NDSM werf to take pictures! This event will be different than usual, because we won't make a route due the weather and limited time. But instead, we are going to wander around the area and finish with a drink in one of the venues. if it rains too hard, we will just network inside and have lunch together.We're back!
Join us for a casual city photowalk for photographers, models, and explorers looking to connect in a relaxed, social setting. Whether you're into street photography, portraits, or just want to explore Amsterdam with a creative crew (and get some great photos), this is for you!
Bring your camera or phone, a comfy outfit, and an open mind. This isn’t your typical city tour, it’s a walk designed to capture portraits and moments as we explore parks, watersides, and urban spots! Keep this in mind when joining to avoid disappointment. We are going to stop a lot.Route will be confirmed later, but it probably will be in the North of east area. We're meeting at central station regardless.

This event is open to Dutchess & Internationals who like to go on restful afternoon trips, group walks and exploring with others. Everyone is welcome, and we’re especially reaching out to people from east and west of The Netherlands as Hike & Pictures NL and Urban & Rural Arnhem are trying out a collaboration.

The event has two official meet-up spots: @Arnhem Centraal Station, near Burger King (11:50) and @Zwolle Stationsplein (13:10). For practical reasons it would be best to only join at one of these meet-up spots. Throughout the day you are free to leave at any time you like.
If you’re coming from Amsterdam: there’s a direct train going to Zwolle from Amsterdam Zuid (12:11), and if you’re traveling from Amsterdam Centraal you can get on this train in Almere Centrum (12:33). It arrives in Zwolle at 13:13. If this train gets any delay, we’ll consider this for the starting time of our group walk :)

When we have arrived we'll initiate a CityWalk for about 1,5 hours! This is a walk where you can socialize and get to know each other, take photos or just tag along and enjoy the vibes. Afterwards, we'll offer freetime. This means you can do what you like: whether that's for example going to a museum, cafes, do photography or continuing walking (with others of the event) is up to everyone’s individual choice. We’ll stay in touch via the WhatsApp-groups (Hike & Pictures and Urban & Rural). Around 17:15 we'll start looking for a place to have dinner. We don't have a specific restaurant in mind yet, but we'll look for a place that's small-budget friendly. After dinner, the event ends. To those traveling to Arnhem: Our return time is intended to be 18:50-19:49, but it's uncertain if we’ll go for this specific connection. A train to Arnhem leaves every 30 minutes.Please RSVP your status here on Meetup!

Haarlem Christmas Market + Citywalk
Haarlem station, Kennemerplein 1, 2011 LR, Haarlem, NLJoin us for a fun, energetic walk through Haarlem’s charming historic centre during the yearly Christmas market. With nearly 350 stalls spread across the heart of the city, and live music/bands throughout the day, it’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy holiday atmosphere, pick up unique bits and pieces, and capture some great shots.
We’ll start at the station, head into the city centre together, check out the market stalls, walk through quaint streets, stop for warm drinks (and maybe lunch) and just enjoy the festive scenery. The route is flexible — feel free to wander with group or take your own pace.
📷 Photographer’s tip: The market is spread over several streets in the historic centre (including the main square and Grote Markt) and is beautifully lit and decorated. It’s a great location for winter/festive shots, so make sure to bring your camera!
👥 Who’s it for? Everyone who loves christmas market!
👌 What to bring:
- Your camera / smartphone for photos
- Warm clothes
- Comfy shoes for walking
- Some cash and card (some stalls may prefer one or the other)
- List with people you have to buy christmas presents for
- A good spirit 🙂
After the event, you can decide to stay longer to enjoy the rest of the day on the christmas market.
