How to Discover a Fabulous Place for an Inexpensive Lunch with Free Live Music

Details
One of my fav spots for lunch is the Cheese Board Pizza Collective in N.Berkeley. One of the great things there is they always have live music at lunchtime.
I just checked the band schedule for the 24th and The Eclectic Collective the band I had hoped to hear was not listed for next Tuesday. Not to worry there will be another band and great pizza and salad too.
The plan for this Meetup is to take a loop walk, to nearby points of interest. Then go to hear the music while having pizza and salad for lunch. There was a lot of interest today for this band which is no longer scheduled for the 24th.. (You wait in line here to order and pick-up your pizza at one time. The line can get very long. The band will have from opening at 11:30am, to afternoon closing at 2:30pm.
Now about parking. There are nearby meters. Pay to park and park very closeby. Nearby street parking is usually hard to find and on certain days and times there are street cleaning restrictions. Make sure to check the signs for these restrictions.
What I have been doing for years and recommend is to park West of Eunice St. And then walk about two or three blocks to the Cheeseboard having no worries about a ticket. Look for unrestricted parking around Yolo and Sutter Sts. You can park in some spots here all day.
Because between Shattuck Ave. and Solano Ave the same road has two more names. I won't attempt to give directions but here's a link to the Goggle map of the area. Please leave time for the parking situation.
[Today, May 6th, 2025, Gabriel Bata and his band, The Eclectic Collective were playing. I was blown away. I had never heard this combination of sound. Gabriel's vocals were haunting. I describe it as a primitive form of American Jazz or at times sounding to me like a purer form of Jamaican/Caribbean. Gabriel described his music as Afro Folk. I think Berkeley's Pete Seegar would have loved this music.
I had never heard some of the instruments the band was playing. Most popular music you can snap your fingers to or clap along with, but the movement that matched this music, was to sway with it.]
