10kms Bush Hike, Coal Loader, Wendy’s Secret Garden, Perfect Views & a Beer!

5 Minutes after starting this hike, you’re gonna think “Holy shit. We just left Wollstonecraft Station, and this luscious hiking / bush / greenery is right here???"

It’s a really cool hike, and though the map looks like it’s easy-neighbour-shuffling, there’s definitely some climbs to sweat, swear, and work off Friday & Saturday nite’s drinks. It’s the perfect 10kms Sunday session to finish with a (optional) beer or two. We’ll stop at The Coal Loader (pic), have perfect views of Sydney Opera House / Bridge, and if you’ve never been to Wendy’s Secret Garden – you’re in for an absolute treat.

We hit the 10.3kms mark at Milson’s Point Ferry Wharf, so we can head to my local (Sporting Globe by 4 Pines – $7.50 pints, and I get 20% off all food / drink with my VIP card) from there to Barangaroo. If you’re not keen, Milson’s Point Station is close by, or take a Milson's Point ferry to Circular Quay.
