Coastal Sunset Hike, Rooftop Bar, and USA $1 Wings at Surly's Surry Hills!

We went to Surly’s in December, and the food was damn good… $1 Smoked wings. Buffalo wings. Lemon pepper wings. And more. All delicious. Then I poked my head in the upstairs section and went “WOW – that feels like a bar straight out of the mountains." So? This time we’re booked upstairs – Legend Hiker Spanish Gem requested it – let’s see if she (and her Crocs) won’t get lost this time (while blaming me).

THE HIKE.
Bondi to Coogee. We’ve all done it, right? If not, get your ass in this event ASAP. But have you done it during sunset? It's been ages for me... Coogee Beach, Gordon's Bay, Clovelly Beach, Waverley Cemetery, Bronte Beach, Tamarama Beach, Mackenzie's Bay... to Bondi Beach. It's a classic! We meet at 6pm. We start hiking at 615pm sharp, and it's a hilly-not-hard 6.5kms.

THE BARS.
We meet at Coogee Rooftop at 6pm (Mon - Fri, 5-7pm. $7.50 schooners & $10 pints of select house beers, $7.50 house spirits, $7.50 house wine, $15 Aperol spritz & $18 cocktiails). The views of the beach are excellent, so I'll be there getting lubed up from 5pm. Feel free to join.

We finish at Surly's for a bite to eat, drink... their upstairs bar really brings back memories of my home country USA. It's super cool upstairs... Central Station / Town Hall are 10min away.
