Sierra Nevada Road Trip Dispersed Camping Interest Level & Planning

Down for a camping roadtrip to some of the finest dispersed camping in the Sierra Nevada? Highland Lakes road (destination Highland Lake) pending snow amount on the ground.

Highland lakes road is just west of the Sierra Summit Ebbets pass off Highway 4. Ideally we make it in 3 miles by car to Highland Lake pending snow on the road. If not there is excellent dispersed camping along the road which is adjacent to the north fork of the Stanislaus river. All kinds of hiking in the areas too (peaks to work up to, meadows, river pools, etc . .)

The purpose of this meetup. Limit it to 15 the zoom call. Short intros. And then ideally put together two, at most three cars to pool up to the location (roughly 4 hour drive). I think a group of about 6 to 8 people in two to three campsites near one another would be nice. So 15 limit for this zoom call might result in 12 attending the call. And then maybe ultimately 10 rsvping for the trip. And then 6 to 8 actually going.

Keep in mind this is new for me. Also, Im rusty at zoom call as it's been about 5 years since I used to run them. Anyhow, what the hell give it a whirl right. We can talk logistics on the call. ok, thats it for now.
