Wednesday Night: Murdock Peak from Lambs Canyon

As last week's hike up on Bald Mountain was such a hit, I thought we'd give the Parley's Canyon area another shot. This week (8/20), we will hike to Murdock Peak from the top of Lambs Canyon. We will do the hike as a loop, going up the steep side and down the far more gradual side for better footing on the descent. The lollipop shaped hike will be 6.8 miles with 2050 ft of net elevation gain and 2600 ft of total elevation gain. Here is a GAIA link for the hike:

Depending on how many people sign up, we may meet at the base of Lambs Canyon by I-80 and carpool up to the trailhead. If we do carpool, please be there at 6:15 rather than 6:30. Also, please bring a headlamp for the way down.
