Sandiaoling Tunnel
Details
We’ll be visiting the Sandiaoling Tunnel this coming Sunday, and I’ve reserved spots (FREE) for 10 people.
We will be on train Local Train #4162 leaving Taipei at 9:32AM, Songshan at 9:39AM, Nangang at 9:42AM and Xike at 9:48AM which is where I'll get on. We can meet on the train or on the platform at Mudan. It arrives to Mudan at 10:53AM.
We’ll walk together to the Sandiaoling Tunnel, check in with our reservation, and enjoy a slow, relaxed walk through the tunnel.
After we exit the tunnel, you’re free to choose your own adventure. There’s a pizza restaurant near the station that’s supposed to be really good, and I’d love to try it! Here’s the link:

The menu is small, and pizzas are around NT$400–500. You’re welcome to join us for lunch, or explore the area on your own. You can walk to Houtong Station, visit the Sandiaoling Waterfalls, or head straight back to the city.
The main focus of the day is the tunnel, and we do have a specific entry time, so we’ll need to stay together for that part. Afterward, the rest of the day is completely up to you.
