2-3 hours, 4-5 miles, Strawberry Mansion, Laurel Hill Mansion, Woodford Mansion. Laurel Hill Cemetery, possibly St John's The Less
These 3 historic Fairmount Park mansions are the nicest ones in the park to visit. All have interesting histories, built before the revolution. Tours usually cost $5-$10
We'll also take a walk though famous Laurel Hill East Cemetery and nearby St John's The Less which is an authentic 14th Century English Church. The cemetery offers spectacular views of the Schuylkill River from a high ridge. I will try to arrange a tour of the church.
Carpooling
To carpool from Hill House (201 W Evergreen Ave, Phila) meet 30 minutes before the event. Carpool time changes if hike time changes. Text me 215-2474459, 3-4 days in advance.
