Whiting Ranch - Dreaded Hill & Billy Goat (Level 2 + Moderate Pace)

LOCATION : 27412 Portola Pkwy, Foothill Ranch, CA.
PARKING: There is free parking outside of Wahoo’s the meeting place
MEETING TIME: 7:30 AM (finish the hike in about 3.0 hours)
GENERAL RATING/DIFFICULTY: Level 2: RATING TABLE (https://tinyurl.com/HikeRating) for more info about hiking levels. This is not a hike for beginners nor is it a hike for fast hikers. We take a moderate pace.
DISTANCE/ELEVATION/DURATION: Estimate 7 miles. Elevation: 1300 feet.
ESSENTIALS: Wear traction hiking shoes, bring water, sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat.
ROUTE: We will leave the parking lot and follow the path under Portola to the Whiting Ranch entrance. We will follow Serrano Road and take the Dreaded Hill Trial to Four Corners. From Four Corners we go down to, and take, Billy Goat back to Four Corners. From Four Corners, we head back to the parking lot via Serrano.

Punctuality & RSVP Etiquette:
We kindly request that all participants aim to be punctual. Our group will wait for a grace period of 5 minutes past the scheduled start time for any latecomers. However, if you realize that you're running late, please inform us through the message board. This will help us know to wait a bit longer for you and ensure we don't leave anyone behind.
If your plans change and you're unable to attend after RSVPing, please cancel your RSVP before the event begins. This consideration allows us to manage the group size effectively and opens up space for others who might be on a waiting list.
