Details

There’s no therapy like music. Nothing soothes the soul like growled guitars and screamed sentiments. Which is why we booked three of Hong Kong’s most unapologetically expressive acts to perform for a special night of noise: Kowloon Thunder on September 13. Call it cathartic. Call it a celebration. Call it what you want. We call it rock n’ roll.

Kicking off the show are Searchlight, serving their singular fusion of alternative metalcore, rock, pop and orchestral sounds. Their songs dive unapologetically into themes of depression, anxiety and raw human struggle – setting the mood for an evening of emotional intensity.

Next up, Houseplants bring their raw post-punk attack. With just drums, vocals and baritone guitar, this trio of Idles-inspired upstarts has created a sound that’s both urgent and lush – as wild and vibrant as nature itself.

Saving the most explosive for last, headliners Cursed Eyes take center stage. With over a decade of relentless performing experience – from Hong Kong, with love, to stages across Asia – Cursed Eyes blend melodic death metal with classic heavy metal riffage. New single “Specter’s Garden” is set to spark maximum mosh-pit mayhem!

Mark your calendars, gather your crew, and get ready to feel the thunder roll through Kowloon!

This event is BYOB.
