Hopkinton Old School Roleplaying Game Club

Let's take a pause in our ongoing Traveler campaign and play a one-shot (single session) adventure of Tales from the Loop. This game, inspired by the moody artwork of Simon Stålenhag, is set in a retro-futuristic version of the 1980s, where kids uncover mysteries involving strange technology and the inscrutable world of adults. Over the summer, we ran a mini-adventure set in a Hopkinton, where our band of intrepid kids stopped a reclusive scientist who was experimenting with computer/brain circuits and mind control! Things have been quiet since, but with autumn here and Halloween approaching, there will surely be more creepy events to investigate. Stop by an join the adventure!

The Traveler campaign continues! Our group of space adventures has made their way onto the mysterious science vessel and found that all is not well. Dangerous experiments, sabotage, and the mutated remnants of the original crew.... Surely this is not what they expected to deal with, when they signed up to work for a sinister mega-corporation! Then again, they didn't really have a choice... But you do! Come join the adventure!

Tavern Time is a semi-regular hangout at the Start Line Brewing Company, in Hopkinton. This time, we will be getting into a spooky, Halloween mood by playing through the classic Advanced Dungeons & Dragons adventure module, The Tomb of Horrors. This module has a reputation for being punishingly difficult, with hapless adventurers facing (and usually falling to) perplexing puzzles, deadly traps, and weird monsters, as they try to find the hidden treasure room of the evil demi-lich Acererak! Sounds like fun? Of course it does! Stop by to hoist a tankard of ale (or non-alcoholic alternative) and watch your precious adventurer get stabbed, crushed, cursed, or annihilated!
