Join Houston Urban Trekkers Thurs. Nov. 27th for a Thanksgiving morning walk @ Terry Hershey park.🦃
Path: From meeting spot, we will hike towards Dairy Ashford Rd & return.
Hike begins promptly @ 9am.
NOTE Meeting spot, Rustling Pines Neighborhood. 300 Wycliffe Dr. Map pin is correct.
PARKING: you can park along Wycliffe Dr. (right side of street only). Additional parking available along the streets inside neighborhood.
Meet group in front of giant power lines.
This is an out & back hike on a combination asphalt/dirt trail. We will hike @ a pace of 3 miles/hr.
No restroom along walking path.
Do not bring your dog. Dogs are not allowed @ any events hosted by Houston Urban Trekkers.
Shoes: Wear comfortable walking/running shoes. Any supportive sports type shoe will do.
Car break-ins are a big problem in Houston- esp. @ hiking trails.
Do not Leave Valuables in Your Car. It's best to not leave anything visible (regardless of value) in your vehicle. Leave Valuables @ home or lock them in your vehicle PRIOR to leaving home.
