From the BRPwy, Hugh will lead a scouting hike downhill along the Bridges Camp Tr & Big East Fork Tr to Hwy 276. This requires a car shuttle.
Hike Distance: 5.6mi. Accum descent: 1700 ft: Accum Ascent: 700 ft.
Pace: 2.5mph
Difficulty: Rocky with roots; primarily downhill. Numerous sections of challenging washed out trail (hands&knees). NOT recommended for dogs.
Drive time: 1.5 hr Total; 60 mi total (shuttle incl’d)
Return no earlier than: 2:00pm (=4.5 hrs)
Carpool contributions appreciated. $4.00 suggested

We suggest open windows while carpooling. Only you know your own health status so judge accordingly if an event may endanger your health or the health of others.
Please bring an extra pair of shoes to avoid bringing your muddy shoes into the driver's car at the end of the hike.
Dogs: not recommended for dogs.
