Everyone is most welcome to join me in this free Melbourne Marathon Training Club night (whether you are signed up for the Marathon or not). There will be two running groups:

Group 1 (Slow Pace) 5:40 - 6:40 minutes per km
You can choose between a medium run (8km) or a long run (10km).

Group 2 (Medium Pace) 5:00 - 5:30 minutes per km
Medium run (8km) or a long run (10km).

WHAT TO BRING
• Suitable running clothing. Check the forecast on the day before you leave.
• A friendly spirit :-)

MEETING POINT
Janet Lady Clarke Rotunda, Linlithgow Ave (see photo attached below). The training session begins at 6pm but I'll be at the Rotunda at 5:30pm if you want to come early and do a warm up lap of The Tan with me. Message me and let me know. PLEASE come at least 10 minutes early as we will be leaving at 6pm sharp. If you can’t find us (as a last resort) call me on 0418 294 847

WEATHER CONDITIONS
All events will take place even in challenging weather conditions (rain/heat/snow) so take courage (and wise precautions) and embrace the opportunity. Cancellations will only happen if extreme weather conditions are forecast. If unsure check the App for notifications the night before.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS & SPECIAL NEEDS
If you or anyone under your care has any relevant medical conditions or special needs please advise the event leader immediately on arrival.

CHILDREN
This event is NOT suitable for children (under 18 years of age).

SAFETY & RESPECT
• During all events everyone has the right to feel safe and respected. If at any stage you witness unacceptable behaviour please advise the leader of the event immediately.
• The event leader has the right (and duty) to prevent someone from participating in the activity if they do not have the necessary clothing, food/water, equipment or disposition to ensure a safe experience for themselves and others.

However, the organiser will not accept liability for any injury or accident. Participants should take care, wear suitable clothing and footwear, maintain their equipment, and act appropriately in their surroundings. You are responsible for your own safety. By RSVP’ing to this event you indicate acceptance of these terms. It is very strongly recommended that everyone has ambulance cover, as even an ankle injury could lead to costly evacuation.
