Hi! I’m Claire, an Aussie who’s recently moved back from London, and like many of us, I kept saying, “I’d love to do that — just not alone.”
So, I created this group for people who want to get out, try fun things, and do it with good company. Whether it's catching a movie, going to the theatre, solving an escape room, or teaming up at a pub quiz — this is a social, friendly space where no one has to go solo.
If you:
- Have a mental list of shows or events you keep meaning to go to
- Like the idea of going out midweek or on weekends but don’t always have someone to join
- Want to meet other Sydneysiders who enjoy shared experiences without the pressure...

Our first escape room event! I haven't booked yet - will wait to see what kind of numbers we get (ideally 4-5 people).Venue: Next Level Escape - 23 O'Connell St, Sydney
Cost: $65 per person ($60 if 3 or more players)
Duration: 75 mins
Difficulty: 3/5Payment rules: These venues never allow individual payments, so I have to pay the full price ($$$) and you'll have to transfer me your share. I won't book the room unless all payments have been received. Most venues don't provide refunds for cancellations so if you can't make it on the day, I won't be able to provide a refund. Of course, if you can find someone to take your place, they can pay your share, but this has to be very transparent so that no one is left out of pocket. Appreciate your understanding.
Room description: The Inner City Amateur Dramatic Society welcomes you to their production of Scenes From Romeo and Juliet. You’ll be a huge part of the play! As stagehands! Underneath the stage! Isn’t that great?
Most of the cast and crew haven’t abandoned the play (hah!), everyone totally remembers their lines, the lead actors definitely don’t hate each other, and the rigging is in perfect condition. Really. It’ll be the most relaxing experience you’ve ever had.
An audio play, interactive performance and escape room, The Show Must Go On is a unique experience that will have you laughing as you help this bunch of amateurs put on a production no one will ever forget!
This is a narrative-focused experience that is a lot slower-paced and chilled than a standard escape room. It is recommended for players who don’t mind a less puzzle-heavy game. The game is not timed, and can take 50-70 minutes depending on the skill level of the group.
