Deer on the Black Oak Road

During this walk, we will look at deer sign like scrapes, rubs, beds, and feeding sites. Most of the walk will take place off trail, and while the terrain we will cover will be relatively flat, please wear sturdy boots. Unlike most of our other events, we will cover approximately a mile and half. As a special treat (I think!), we will visit one of the oldest trees in the Watchung Reservation - a black oak that's at least 250 years old!

We will meet at the Skytop Drive picnic area pavilion.
