We all have uncomfortable truths about ourselves that we'd rather not confront. It's often easier to distract ourselves, make excuses or blame circumstances than to question beliefs we've held for years.
But sometimes life becomes so painful that something changes. We reach the point of saying, "I've had enough!" Suddenly, the discomfort of honest self-reflection seems insignificant compared with the suffering we've been enduring.
This presentation explores why our most difficult experiences can sometimes become powerful turning points. It examines how frustration, desperation and even anger can create an opportunity to confront uncomfortable truths and make meaningful changes.
There's also a paradox. When life is going well, we often have little motivation to examine ourselves. Yet when things fall apart, we may be too overwhelmed to recognise the opportunity in front of us.
