Innovate Ag Tas Meetup – Farmer shark tank for Agrifood startups

Whether you're a farmer, a technology enthusiast, service provider or simply curious about the evolving use of technology and innovations in agriculture, this event is for you!

Join us on Wednesday 1st November at 4 - 7pm at Longford RSL, 78 Wellington Steet, Longford.

We are partnering with Startup Bootcamp to bring 5 global AgriFood startups to Longford, currently in Tasmania participating in the FoodTech Tas accelerator program.

Join us in Longford to:

• Startup Bootcamp’s Tom Woolley will share what it takes for a startup to be successful.
• A cohort of 5 global agrifood startups will pitch their ideas to a shark tank panel of farmers. The panel will provide their frank and honest feedback to this group of innovators including.

· Argento Labs (UK): Transform dry-matter agricultural waste into high-value biotech products with patented technology and expertise in industrial production.
· Corbiota (Germany): Transferring complex microbiota to poultry through patented Corbiota worms at the beginning of the rearing period.
· Natural Trace (Singapore): An invisible tamper-proof, food-grade, bio-barcode for agri-food supply chain traceability where and when you need it.
· TriBus (United States): Real-time soil moisture & fertiliser activity management tracking technology.
· Urban Tiller (Singapore): Processing surplus leaf biomass of any type to extract leaf protein & fibre.

• Get a copy of the Tasmanian Agricultural Technology Guide, showcasing 100 technologies across these four key industries in Tasmania which has been developed by the Tas Farm Innovation Hub and Beanstalk Agtech.
