Farmers2Founders - Innovate UK – Launch Australia
Details
Hey folks,
The Brits are coming! The Brits are coming! 🇬🇧🚜
And no, it's not another Ashes tour. This time they're bringing some pretty cool AgTech to Orange!
We've been invited along to something a little different next Wednesday, with eight innovative UK AgTech startups rolling into town ahead of the Australian National Field Days. They're here as part of the Farmers2Founders - Innovate UK – Launch Australia program, and they're putting on a free pitch and networking evening to show off what they've been working on.
And there's some seriously interesting stuff in the mix!
We're talking autonomous farming robots, satellite-connected IoT, clever livestock technology, turning farm waste into energy, biological crop protection and even some smart ways to monitor water quality.
Basically, plenty of cool tech, clever ideas and people doing interesting things. Sounds right up our alley!
Here's the important stuff:
📅 Wednesday, 21 October 2026
🕔 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
📍 Orange Ex-Services' Club – Greenhouse Function Room
💰 Cost: FREE!
It's a great opportunity to meet some international founders, hear their pitches, ask a few curly questions and make some new connections. And who knows, maybe even spark a collaboration or two!
You don't need to be a farmer or an AgTech expert to come along. If you're interested in innovation, technology, startups or just seeing what clever people are building, you'll be in good company.
Please make sure you use the link to register, don't RSVP on Meetup.
Would be great to see a few familiar Innovate Orange faces there, so come along, say g'day and help give our UK visitors a proper Orange welcome!
Cheers,
Innovate Orange Team
