Short Arduino Workshop on Digital Outputs

Details
This is a free short workshop on Arduino and digital outputs. If you made LEDs blink with an Arduino before you probably don’t need to come along to this unless you really want a refresher. By the end of the course you will be able to control digital outputs, know how to work out what resistors are needed with a LED, know a little C and a little and how to make a basic circuit using an arduino clone. It will go from 5:30pm to 7pm on Thursday May 3rd at Snepo FabLab (https://fablab.snepo.com) just behind the Sydney Museum in Darlinghurst. Numbers are limited but there will be a waitlist. I’ll run this course again in the future but It’s likely to not be free.
I'm running this course as part of my Cert IV training and assessment I’m doing at TAFE so there a few things I need to ask in return:
- You fill out an attendance sheet
- You fill out an short evaluation form (can be anonymous) on the course/my training
- You're OK to being filmed. The film of the training session will be used for assessment purposes (of me) only and not made public.
You also need to:
- Bring yourself and your laptop along. Make sure it is charged.
- Important! Before showing up please download and install the arduino IDE software from [1] on your laptop
- Note that no food or drink is allowed in the lab
Arduino kits will be supplied but sorry you can't take them home. Hope to see you there.
